    i just have one or two simple questions. im buying a 400W HPS envirolite kit and i know that theres a blue spectrum bulb and a red spectrum bulb. which one is for veg and which is for flowering and do i really need the one for flowering or will i get similiar results by just changing the light cycle when they begin flowering?? any input greatly appreciated ;-)

    And it will make a big differnce when flowering, not as much when vegging. Flowering is the most important one, obviously.

    so what would be the difference in the bud formation between using just blue spectrum while changing the light cycle or using red spectrum during flowering?

    Perhaps double the yield, or more, or less. The point is flowering with blue light is absolutely the wrong way of doing things. Red produces bigger buds by far.
