Alcohol and cannabis mix very well, and turn into a sort of whole new feeling. I used to get drunk and smoke cannabis all the time, it's much more intense. I'd say alcohol is kind of a potentiator for cannabis, if the alcohol is consumed before the cannabis. I believe it was the combination of the two which caused you to feel so emotional. I wouldn't completely take the blame off of cannabis... it definitely aided you in feeling the way you did. Also, alcohol would cause you to be more confident, and more relaxed and irrational. But the combination of the two makes a whole new feeling, which I cannot really explain. Both the alcohol and the weed aided in it. It wasn't just the alcohol.
