The Glass Graveyard (pieces of yesteryear)
Ive got 2 pretty wicked stories.
1) Last summer me n some buddies were at the weed march at Queens park in Toronto n I brought a little (2 feet) glass bong. We smoked it for hours n hours in the crouded park n nothing happend. Later that night, we drove to a friend's house for his 19th bday n of course we brought the little bong. Once there, he decided that for his birthday (he was alredy crunked) he wanted to burn a sesh... on the highway. Since this was my 1st time at his house I had no idea that his backyard (which was huge) backed onto the DVP (Don Vally Parkway - the main highway between Toronto Proper and the east end). Not only was it 3am, but the highway was closed that weekend for some reason. We grabbed a soccer ball, the bong and an 8th or so and hopped the fence. Once over, we sat down in the middle of the road (its like 8 lanes) in a circle n started the sesh, it was awesome. We got really comfortable (took off our coats n placed them on the median) and very, very high when suddenly a fucking firetruck with all its lights n siren blairing comes speeding towards us... it was sooo unexpected. We all got up ran the fuck away n tried to hop the fence again, when i was swinging my leg over the edge i dropped the bong and heard it break into a billion peices. Once the truck got passed us, we went back over, got our coats, rolled a blunt, played some soccer. I didnt realize the bong was missing untill hours later.
2) Me and my non weed smoking girlfriend were in Montreal later that summer and I had to go to the High Times store. I saw this amazing 4 foot glass bong with a huge peice and a blue embossed bob marley head on it, it was $75cnd which is pretty expensive considering that I could hardly afford the hotel n all the other trip expenses. I bought it anyway and had the dude wrap it up in foam n all. Literally 5 minutes later we were at Second Cup getting espresso; I was standing in line when I hear a huge, glass breaking, crash. I turn around in slo-mo to see my girlfriend with her hands up in the air and the bag she was holding on the ground infront of her. I rush over, get on my knees n start peeling away the plastic n bubble wrap to see that my brand new bong absolutely crushed. Ive never been so upset in my life.. we went back to the store, showed the guy n told him what happend, he was practically crying and said we could have another bong, this one double the size and costing $100 for half price. We got it n I guarded it the entire trip.

I've had some pretty bad luck recently. My bubbler was smashed by a friend a week after I bought it over the summer and now, i got my bong and my pipe, which was already messed up, confiscated. Now I have nothing except crappy homemade stuff

I got a pre-cooler for my bong sent online to me, well it came with a tiny peice broken off where it goes down into the bong hole (stem I guess). I emailed the site a picture and they are sending me a new one now, but... I got some krazy glue and she was as good as new (or so I thought).
So I'm using it and getting pretty ripped and as I'm taking it out to dump the water out it breaks in a new spot. So I think whatever they are sending me a new one, until I remember the krazy glue. I glue it back together again and it works well again.
Well essentially the same thing happened the next night except it broke in the original spot where I first glued it. I glued it back together for the third time, and here I am... never giving up on this little pre-cooler.

My current piece is a thing of beauty. Dr. Feelgood has one of the deepest bowls i have ever seen. Fortunatley, I have had it for quite some time and it has yet to see a close call. The day it breaks or is confiscated will be a sad, sad day indeed.

I had a never ending coner that i had made in my welding class.
You could pack that fu*king thing full and it would burn just like a joint
just no paper needed, I lost it when i switched rooms yesterdayi miss it.
And i dont even any papers. the pipe is at the gf's house and i lent my bong to my friend. For the love of that bong it had better not get broken. I'd sh!t bricks.

My condolences for all pieces lost but not forgotten. I would like to take this time to think about my deceased pieces: 'Boris the spider' (bong) and 'Socrates' (bubbler) and finally Sartre (bong) Rest in Peace
I now use 'The Challice'
