The Glass Graveyard (pieces of yesteryear)

One of my friends bought a 200 dollar steamroller. He had just bought it, got in his car and put it in his lap. Then got back out of the car to get something, and he forgot it was in his lap. Needless to say, the thing shattered everywhere on a parking lot.

My friends mom broke 3 pieces of his. We attempted gluing them back together. 2-3 hours of my life wasted.

this last summer i had a nice little pipe i called toad cause it looked like a shroom it had a little piece of rounded glass sticking out of the side of the bowl which made it look even more like a shroom. it had dots on the bowl part and tentaceles (sp?) on the stem. some said it looked like a squid but whatever. anyway i had it on my lap and i was stoned so i forgot it was there and i stood up. i had dropped it many a time before and it was a resiliant little bastard but this time the concrete finally got the better of it. the rounded piece broke off and a little of the inside of the bowl broke and fell into it. not much damage but it was unable to hold anything worth a shit anymore. i put it to rest where i thought it would be most appropriate... on the highway while stoned. i had used it a lot while driving soooo you get the picture. it was a sad day for sure. i didn't end up putting it to rest until about a month after it happened cause i liked it so much. i even left all the resin in it just in case... well lets just say i'm very sentimental with my things.

how about setting you fifty dollar glass pipe on a chair in your backyard while you go back inside to get the lighter, only to come back out and see half you peice on the ground and the other half in the mouth of your german sheppard. ive never been so close to intentionally killing an animal in my life!

oh yea and ive broken countless numbers of swisher sweet cigars in my day, not the same i know only a dollar. but its sucks so bad having everything there ready to go only to realize you have to go back and get another stick.

Sadly i've had 3 pieces break on me ; ;

First was back in my highschool days, Had this beautiful bowl that had a dragon fly over the stem. Buddy of mine was dropping it back off and he tossed the cloth that i kept it wrapped it onto my air hockey table, the bowl shot out of it and shattered on the table. Was unbelievable.

Next was my bong, The crutch. I have no clue how it happened, but i was cleaning it out, let it sit on my kitchen counter. Sat it down a good distance, probably a foot or two from the edge of the counter, left the room to get some rubbing alcohol and i just heard glass shatter. Get back into the room to find it in pieces on the floor. To this day have NO CLUE how it happened.

Third was Cosmos, a bowl i had had for probably 7 or 8 years till it broke. That one was totally my fault, had her in my pocket from the night before, went to pick my pants up after a shower and she fell out of the pocket and shattered on the ceramic tile.

However its all alright...because ive got Violet now, and she's my favoritest out of them all ^^.

My first peice, a badass metal bowl I got when I was 14, got jacked by a coke head. Still miss it.

My first piece was a nice little bowl with GREEN metal! My dad gave it to me for Christmas when I was 15. It was a good piece

Sometime last year, I got high and threw it in my pocket just to get it out of sight. Next day I got the same pants on because they were clean. Doing sit-ups in gym and when I get up the teacher says, "Someone wanna pick up their pipe?"

I panicked and grabbed it!!! DAMNIT!!!

Long story short... I got a fine for drug paraphernalia($109) and got my pipe confiscated.

It had sentimental value and I started bawling really hard when they said I wasn't getting it back

I've gotten lucky. I have dropped my bowl twice now.

The first time it most certainly should have shattered, but it didn't.
It was the end of a good two day burn at a summer camp. Just me and the other maintenaince guy with no one aorund for miles. I was high, tried to do a bunny hop on a mountain bike, and forgot about the pipe in my sweatshirt pocket. It fell out, landed right on the bowl onto a concrete slab. It survived with a minor dent.

The second time wasn't as bad. Just fell out of my lap onto concrete while I was sitting cross legged on the ground. So far I have been very lucky.

Recently my dad's friend was using my little glass bowl. It was straight with a bowl on the end instead of screwed in or in the top. Amazing little piece that has got me stoned countless times

Anyways, he dropped it. A big loud snap and the bowl is broken. The sides of the bowl shattered and just left the rest perfect. So we scraped the resins and rolled it into a ball with some good weed. Smoked that shit for hours. It was a great funeral :rastasmoke:
