Smoking yourself sober???

Someone told me about this, that if you smoke enough you will get sober.

Honestly I think it sounds retarded (can we say that on here?) but who knows.

Has anyone else heard of this. I don't think it's true.

actually yes it is true, i've done it quite a few times... however, it's not like you smoke yourself to a point where you are sober as if you've done nothing that day.... your body/mind feels drain, but you're no longer high..

i suspect tho, it's just from smoking so much you can no longer get high for that day (or few days) and your high just wears off as it naturally would... so it's not really smoking yourself sober, it's smoking so much you just can't get high again for awhile....

Do you mean sober from being high from cannabis or sober from being inebriated from ethyl alcohol?

yeah its happened to me.. last 4/20 my friend and i got munchies together and stoner movies and just smoked steady for 11 hours... by that night i stood up and was like whoa, im not high.. i couldnt get high for 3 days after... my tolerance right now is so Damn high.. i need to stop smokin. but i dont wanna! when skunk dont get u high ur fucked!

yeah it used to happen to me back when i was smoking all day like everyday sometimes. It'd happen later in the day after smoking a lot, id smoke one more and instead of feeling high, i'd start feeling more sober, kinda tired, but not really high anymore... smoking more doesnt really help either. I always took it as a signal that id smoked enough that day

If you mean as in you sit down and start blazing getting higher and higher and then your high suddenly disappears I would say defiantly not

If you mean youve been blazing all day long and then you find you finally have a session that does nothing but make you sleepy then yes
