lowryder grow cabinet log and I need help

Hello out there in stoner land. I've been a long time reader of this message board and I've decided to join in the activity of cultivating combustable agriculture:jointsmile:. Due to inconsistent hook ups, I'm forced to grow my own cause I like to smoke often:jointsmile:.

I already have grown one lowryder plant on by balcony for about three weeks. Its about five inches tall and looks pretty good. I'll post picks when I get a camera. I can't tell the sex yet. The plant is in top soil with no nutes so far and I water every other day (its been hot here.) Its in a small 64 oz pot.

I also have two lowyder seeds I germinated the other day that have yet to sprout. They are both planted in the same manner as the afformentioned pot plant:stoned:.

I'm going to buy a clam light and a couple of y adapters for my fixture and use the best cfls wally world has to offer. I figure this would be enough light for lowryders. I'm also gonna pick up a bloom formula and a 1-2-1 fertilizer for blooming.

I will use a 2x2x4 cabinet with a computer fan attatched at the top and bottom for input and exhaust. I also have a timer.

I'm also going to spray paint the inside of the cabinet white so its more reflective and to huff the paint (just kidding:upsidedow).

Please let me know if I'm on the right track. Any suggestions would be appreciated and this first time grower will be sure to help other green thumbs in the future in return.

I will keep a detailed log in laymens terms so first time growers can make their own dank. Fuck inconsistent dealers.

I'm going to home dePOT or wally world today to get started on my grow cab. One of my newly planted seeds sprouted so that leaves one more to go. I'm thinking of using a 5 in muffin fan to circulate air in the cabinet but they're almost 30 bucks a piece with taxes. Any advice on a more cost effective alternative?:rasta:

start in small pots and transplant when they show signs of rootbound 64oz is too big to start
depending on how many cfls you have you will need more than exhaust. can prob get away with a $30 inline booster fan from the depot

make sure its a flat white paint

I'm still growing outdoors. I have to plants right know. The eldest just sprouted small silver hairs out of the top. Does that mean it's female? I'm still outdoors, but I need to get inside. You know what I mean twitch. Eagle Claw!:jointsmile: My lady went to school over there.

lol the eagle claw is the gayest thing, i have yet to see anyone do that here lol

the eldest must be a female if u see lil hairs i just had to crop my eldest one dude to being a male!!!! oh well i have 2 more going... and yes u need to get them in cuase it is starting to get cold out the nights are really dropping and today i actually had to put a jacket on... but yea get that female and make sure when u dig it up to dig far enough around so u dont get the roots and stress it... you just have to be careful

hey penny. another texas man here. down dirty south though. at any rate, the set up sounds nice man. i am planning the same type of set up for my grow. i have read alot and found the cheapest way to do exhaust is with a computer fan out of an old computer tower. you only need one on the top exhaust though, it will pull the cool air in from the bottom (use 2 intake ports)(light proof) and will save $.

your silver cola on top means female. congrats. if you spot little balls, this is male or hermi.

i have read that cfl's are great. high output, low energy costs and low heat. i have already purchased some blue spectrum for my veg stage. i will end up using 2 or 3 blue spec. for 1-2 plants. during flowering stage (12-12) I will add one red spectrum cfl. to balance it all out. just envision the Pink Floyd art. the rainbow represents all colors of the light spectrum. blue is for veg....red is to aid the blue in flowering.

just remember that air that is moving is cooler than stale air. keep those fans turning so you can get more cool air into the cabinet. (hence 2 intake ports) get yourself a thermometer and keep it below 79degrees to be safe.

also i have heard that worm castings are GREAT for a soil additive. it's cheap and creates a great tasting smoke in the end. just add it to your plain soil and perlite and your good to grow.
