Can anyone help me?

I really enjoy smoking weed, but just recently I've noticed I've been having a different reaction to it. I get like a bubbling throat and it feels as if something is traveling up my throat and I have to keep swallowing it. Instead of being happy, I just get really paranoid and cold. I've also recently started taking Slippery Elm Bark as I have an inflamed stomach, it helps in coating the lining of the stomach, so maybe it is just this reacting to the pot. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Plz help cos if i can not get bak to the old days, I might stop smoking altogether!

you may be swallowing smoke. i do this all the time and when i burp it up i try to inhale it again lol.

is it just the weed ur smokin now, or all weed? cuz if its just this case, it could just b the weed... if not, maybe ur just hitting too hard or yeah if u swallow instead of inhaling... never heard of something similar tho..just start eating it instead.. hope ya feel better..
