Makeup . . . What's yours like?
So girls. I'm not the type of girl to wear so much makeup all the time but I'm wondering whats your daily make up ritual well because I'm trying to pick up on some new stuff to do. Yeah I read mags, watch tv but you know.. just let everyone know!

Mine's included in this thread:

And it hasn't changed much since that posting. Not even the kissy lips at my husband. Oil control is still an ongoing battle for me. I love Bare Minerals makeup even more now than I did when I first used it.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

IF I feel like it...this includes my skincare stuff too.
Steam with essential oils
Aubrey Jojoba Scrub/Mask (or a clay mask)
Aveda Hydrating Mask
Aveda acne treatment
Aubrey Sea Buckthorn moisturizer
Aveda eye cream
Prescriptives custom-blended foundation
Clinique undereye concealer
rouge (will be switching to Ecco Bella soon) or cheek shimmer (Aveda)
Underwear for Lids (Origins)
eyeshadow (Ecco Bella and Lancome are my faves)
Underwear for Lashes (Origins)
mascara (Lancome is great)
(optional) eye liner (Bobbi Brown)
Prescriptives custom-blended powder
lip gloss or lip balm
And of course, fragranceand scented hand lotion!
not really a girly-girl, but still love makeup and clothes, go figure.

^^How long does that routine take you, Monkey? I used to use a combination of Clinique and Lancome "underwear" prodocuts, plus the custom-blended Prescriptives foundation (on the days I wasn't too lazy) and powder. But I increasingly have had less and less time, and the creams and liquids take me a long time to get them right, for some reason. That's why I have liked the mineral makeup so much. It's faster to apply and, on me, it looks better than creams or liquids. Probably it helps blot up some of my oil, too.
A friend gave me an Aveda gift certificate. I've never used any of their products. I may have to try some!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

I'm one of those weird chicks that hates make-up. I hate putting it on, hate the way it feels on my face, hate taking it off. I only wear it if it's a special occasion.

Moisturizer and black eyeliner. Sox hat. Good to go.

Birdgirl: it takes me a long time to do the skincare routine, so if I am in a hurry, I just wash with gentle cleanser and moisturize. But the makeup, even though it sounds like a lot, takes me 7 minutes. My husband timed me once.
