Don't even think about doing that. The states that allow medical cannabis do so at a state-law level. It's still against federal law. And guess what type of law governs airports and interstate air travel? Yep. Federal. You carry cannabis, even medically allowed, legally dispensed-within-your-home-state cannabis, anyplace near an airport, and you'll be busted like any other criminal, only the charges you'll get will be stiffer and more harsh--and far more of an administrative and legal hassle to respond to. You'll be treated like a common criminal instead of a medical patient with a legitimate need. It's woefully unfair, but it's the reality of our federal law.

Just go without your medicine or get it at your destination.
