Usually when a plant goes purple it goes purp. all over. If it is mold it will be super soft to the touch, and if you pull that piece it will come out most of the time. If it indeed mold, cut that bud off now.

Hi I'm rather new to growing and have noticed the very center of the bud is getting dark, kinda gray looking at first, and I worried it was mold or some kind of bug, but now I'm thinking is it turning purple??I have 6 females getting close to harvest but I've not seen this happen before, maybe I harvested too soon last summer or maybe it's just a different strain but anybody else get surprised the first time they saw their plants doing this??
