enough light for the sq ft??????

i am starting a grow and i was wondering if this would be enough light.....
i have a 11x5 flowering room that will have 12 plants, will 1 1k hps be enough? everything will be covered in either mylar or "panda" wrap (i dont remember what its called thats what i call it)
also i have a 6x5 veg room, i will have random numbers of plants in here, is a 400 w mh good or do i need more? can i just use fluoros?

is the 6x5 room inside the 11x5 room, if so then the 5x5 room will be great for the 1k. but i would maybe go with 2 250s instead of 400 due to the 6x5 room would be to large to get even lighting at the outside of the garden

no they are two seperate rooms, and as for the 6x5 only about half of it will have plants (probably clones in rockwool or similar) on a table and the other half will be work space thats of course approximate, and i guess i wasnt detailed enough about it, i should have said like a 5x3 space because i think that would be more accurate
