    Growing ganja in 6 weeks?

thread says it all. is it possible? i've never grown before so i dont know the exact time frames. i know a lot of people spend a loooong time on some plants, but i'm wondering if its at all possible to grow a single plant in six weeks, maybe one thats really small.

maybe lowryder but that still takes about 8 weeks from seed to flower. As for any other strains i dont think so. you need at least a couple weeks of vegging and then at least 8 weeks of flower for your basic strains.

Chimera advertises a few strains of his that go 45-50 days flowering. You can find them at hempdepot. I've never ran his stuff.

Keep in mind, most breeders shave a few days off of the real flowering times to make their strains a little more appealing. I always add 1 week to what they say so I know what to really expect when I'm growing them.

Remember also that the faster the strains' finish time, the lower the yield ~80% of the time. If you have no concern over yield (most don't), just find something that most folks seem to like, and you'll be fine. Here's a few ideas to get you started in your search for a faster finisher:

    C99~6-8 weeks flower
    Northern Lights#5 x Haze~8-9 weeks flower(I think)
    Sour Diesel~8 weeks
    Chimera's C4~6-7 weeks

You'll also see a breeder there that HD is just now getting stock from called Master Thai. These aren't available for sale yet, but supposedly one of them "can be" taken as early as 38 days flowering. Not that one would want to take it that early, that's just what the ad said. Good Luck!

6 weeks from seed, not gonna happen.
Any of the BOG stuff will flower under 55 days but you'd have to start with clones if your total window is 6 weeks, plus he is retired and seeds are no longer available.

    I hope you mean months.

If you start with clones and skip the veg cycle, it is possible to harvest some varieties in 6 weeks. Add 2 weeks if starting from seed. This is if everything is perfect and you do everything exactly correct. My AK-47 matures in 45-55 days of flowering, and I know many others are similar. Seed sellers claim the fastest flowering varieties are ready at 45-50 days of flowering. But again, this is if you skip veg.

How about if you stage your clones? Say you have a room for flowering only. Every two weeks, you add a new batch of clones into the room. Therefore, even if it's a 9-10 week flowering strain, you could harvest a batch every two weeks. Haven't tried this, but in theory it sounds good, except for maybe different heights of plants......Hmmm what if you built a multi-tiered table, so that instead of raising the light, you can keep the canopy the same height by moving them down a tier every two weeks, or something like that?

Yes of course that would be possible, and I'm sure some people do something like that. You need more space than a closet though. Using the same theory, you could harvest every day. Imagine if you have 365 plants, you could harvest 1 plant every day. That would probably keep me supplied.

Mr. Green's - "I Grow Chronic" movie has a method on it that allows buds every 2 months so its pretty sweet. That's fresh nugs every 8 weeks which is only 2 weeks more than what you're shootin for. You can find it on Pot-tv or YouTube.
