I also use the pot lift method. However, a better way is to use a moisture meter. I use mine daily to check out the girls. you can get them at any hardware store or garden center. About $10. Its also not such a bad idea to really stress the plants by just letting them dry out between waterings. Let the leaves go limp and then water them. It is interesting to watch how fast they plump back up again. The stress also causes the plant to want to reproduce more, since it thinks it is dying. In other words an increase in the resin that we all look for. Hope this helps. Dr. Bloor
Dr. Bloor Reviewed by Dr. Bloor on . What method do you use for watering? Hey, I've read about hefting the pot and measuring 4-5cm dry soil before watering, but what method do you use/recommend for knowing when to water? Hoping to find some proper moisture measurer, but how about other methods? Thanks:jointsmile: Rating: 5
