dude, eating weed raw will not fuck you up. in order for thc to be extracted properly from the weed it needs to be heated up to a certain temperature...thats why people smoke it. but when you but it in cannabutter or in the brownie mix itself, it gets heated up in the oven and releases thc into the brownies. eating it will not fuck you up...unless you eat alot (and good shit too).
