Yeah, it's Mike Shinoda; it's from his "newly" (not so new anymore) formed group Fort Minor; and it's mostly just him with a lot of different, though hardly known, rappers lending verses and stuff. The name of the song escapes me but it was fairly popular.

The PS3 is only marginally more powerful than the Xbox 360, but because it is incredibly difficult to develop for, chances of any game looking like that in real time on the PS3 is pretty much slim to none. Plus The GTA creators haven't put out any games with breathtaking graphics, so I wouldn't hold my breath on them ever doing something like that.

it doesn't bother me that the ps3 is more powerful.. that doesn't mean much at all.
and of course its gonna be harder to develop on.. because the ps3s got better graphics.
and plus graphics are only gonna get better.. so maybe a game that looks like that isn't that far away.

^It's not more complicated because it has better graphics, it's more complicated because Sony purposely made their PS3 difficult to develop for. They assumed they would be number 1 like they were with the PS2, and if you make a console that is number 1 and hard to code for, most developers will only develop for that console because it is too hard to transfer the code to other systems, thus giving Sony more exclusives. That plan, however, backfired on them. Now, because their system is in 3rd place, many developers are not spending as much time getting to know the PS3 system since in the end, they won't be able to sell nearly as many games than if they make one for the Xbox 360 or even the little Wii.

So because it's so hard to squeeze the power from the PS3, most PS3 games will look about the same as they would on a 360, with a few exceptions that look marginally better. That margin isn't very large, however, and because the 360 is somewhat easier for developers, it should be easier to get the most out of the 360 system. In the end its all about the finished product, not what a game could look like, and so far much of what I've seen on the PS3 isn't really any different than what the best games on the Xbox 360 look like. A perfect example is if you compare Motorstorm to it's original target video, the target video looks amazing, but the actual game doesn't look great at all, and suffers from low framerate.

No offense but I'm not really gonna believe a guy who obviously is biased, and who has a 360 infused with a cannabis leaf for his avatar.

Then again, I don't really believe anything anyone says on message boards because no one really has an opinion, because none of us know what we're really saying. We have no inside information that we know to be true, especially when it comes to what developers are doing and for what reasons etc etc.

I'll believe it when I read the developer say that. Or if I read actual scientific testimony etc etc.

Plus ,I'm biased towards the PS3, because I had the 360 Elite and I just got the PS3 about a month ago; I like the PS3 better. The 360 just felt too simplistic too me. I don't know. I just don't think either company really has it down, though.

Face the facts, Playstation is not on top anymore, their launch line up sucked, and they lost most if not all of thier exclusives(GTA, Final Fantasy, ect.) Personally I could careless if it was more "powerful" and could produce better graphics. If there isnt any games to start off with, whats the point? Besides the graphics are to a point now that you cant really tell the difference and most companies are now working on smaller details like particle effects and such. But dont get me wrong PS3 is gonna have some badass games to be released such as Metal gear and Heavenly Sword, but in the end all ps3 is, is an over priced, over zealous, blu-ray dvd player. I was actually reading an article the other night. Apparently Wii has outsold both others by a long shot, and is still having trouble with supply problems. The exec has already stated the the supply problems will still be around until even after christmas. My guess is that the system is cheaper and so is the software. Money talks.

Just wait and see. And have you forgotten about the even cheaper ps3 model? Still has all the goodies with a 40gb hard drive.

The ps3 will win this console war. Not now, but in the long run.
