Can you cure weed you got from someone else?

I just got a decent ounce tonight and was wondering if i can put it in mason jars and cure it. I dont know if it was cured already or even dried properly but i figure sticking it in the jars cant hurt. Does anyone know if this will help?

Jeez: I would think you can feel it and smell it. You do not want to stick it a jar if it is not cured. Mold and all types of things could happen. Air it out if in doubt! Dr. Bloor

I keep all the weed I buy in a jar. It used to be part of a hemp necklace but my dog ate the necklace hemp part of it. If it's too wet still leave the lid off, then start putting the lid on now and then until it's perfect. You collect lots of good shake in the jar over time that way too.
