    Burning calories?

    First, does smoking dope burn calories(provided you don't munch, or munch on celery)? Second, has anyone encountered a strain that gave them an active high? Like something to work out on.

    Third, I would have put this in health and medicinal but I'm not a legal.

    BTW I'm like 5'10ish 230ishLBs so I need to shed my weight, like 30LBs would be good, but I'm a lazy ass.

    Burning calories?

    considering you dont have full power over which cannabis spectrum youre smoking, go for something with alot of hairs on it. dont smoke a while before you work out, as you want it to retain a much psychoactvity as possible for that 'daytime' high you seek. get all of your shit ready, actually show up (trail, gym, court) and make it the last thing you do, so you dont change your mind.

    drink plenty of fluid including fruit and vegitable juices. all good things take time. nothing great will come easy bro. its all about going out of your comfort zone. i see it all the time with people who are 'in shape.' they do the same boring 20 minute work out every time........but never mind im rambling. best of luck bro. jus remember, above all remain healthy and make it work for YOU, dont worry about what joe blow is doing all that counts is your own progress. best of luck!

    That's good advice, apart from the shit about going for stuff with hairs - the hairs [pistils] dont give any indication to the potency of the plant, or the genetic make up [sativa/indica.] All cannabis plants have pistils.

    For an active high, not a body stone, you want to try and find sativa dominant crosses, or pure landrace sativas [if you can, it's hard]

    Indicas will just make you feel heavy and glue you to a couch.

    As a point of interest, a pound of fat is about 3500 calories. so you can lose like 2 pounds a week skipping rope for 45 min a day.

    Also does cannabis burn calories?

    Oh, and is White Widow sativa dominant or is it even? That is what I plan on growing hydro in a couple years.

    WW is indica dominant.

    Haze strains, Durban strains and the like are sativa dom.

    As for cannabis burning cals - i cant give you an accurate answer, but i really dont think so, and if it does, hardly any.

    It would be great if it did, I believe that "they" have been developing a diet pill with cannabis for calorie burn.

    Burning calories?

    Weed used to give me the munchies all the time, but recently it's been doing the opposite. (At least I think that's what it's from.) I smoke quite a bit, and I've noticed the more I smoke, the less appetite I have. This works out great for me as I love the dope and I needed to lose a bit of weight, anyway. All in all, I lost about 25 lbs in roughly two months... Not sure if it's the diet for everyone, but it worked for me. Good luck, bro.

    Every high's an active high for me. Everyone else just gets couchlocked, while I want to get up and go! I'm sure it's annoying for everyone else.

    Have you tried vaporizing? It usually doesn't give me a body high, so you just feel good but not couchlocked.
