i keep hearing whispers about a mmj co-op in diamond bar but i havent been able to get any solid info. i was wondering if anyone knew about a co op there and if so how do i get there...

as far as i know the city has placed a 60 day ban on co ops or something like that. but there are reports that a co op wants to open up in diamond bar. its the same people who ran the co op in pomona that was shut down. i wasnt to impressed with them they are rip off artist in my view.

rip off how? bad quality or just really expensive? A lot of people cry and complain about the prices, even though the quality is top notch, if you ask me, it's worth it for the convinience as opposed to buying off some shady guy from the streets. I've happily paid $75 per 8th on what I've gotten, and yea sure my friends think I'm crazy, but I have Crohn's disease, and I need specific strains, not just "good shit" as the street dealers call anything that isn't smuggled from mexico.

So if they have good quality, who cares about the price, buy from the streets if you only care about price, but if you care about quality, shut up and pay the money because you sure as hell won't come to the help of these guys running the co-ops when the DEA comes in and busts them. Just look at the poor family ruined in Corona, his kids have been taken away from him just for helping sick people, and how many people complaining about prices are going to help him with his legal fees? Nobody, so I really hope your complaints are about quality, and not price!

i dont like what they charged 75 bucks for. i dont think it was top notch medicine. didnt even get me high its like i was smoking hemp. very dissapointing. that guy in corona was making tons of money also. co ops are supposed to be non profit yet that guy in corona was making hundreds of thousands a week. that is a rip off and im glad the dea stepped in on them.

Do you even have a medical condition? Or are you one of those people that calls a sore thumb "Chronic Pain". If you really used for a serious medical condition you wouldn't complain so much. Just be happy there are ANY places you can go to get your "medicine".

These guys operating these businesses charge a lot because they are on constant threat from being arrested, if you don't like their meds or their prices, go somewhere else, but wishing any co-op to be shut down is destructive to the entire medical marijuana program in California, don't you even care that kids are being torn from their family over such a minor issue?. Stop being so naive to think this won't affect other shops as well, why do you think the prices are so high?

I've heard about them being rip offs from others as well, which is why I never went to their place, but living in an area as large as the Inland Empire I'd be happy to have any co-ops at all, even if they aren't worth visiting. The simple presence of them being around is enough to attract the better shops, but because IEers don't seem to realize this and don't stick up for the shops here, we are stuck with the crap that can't do business in the LA area.

yeah sorry guys but that little rant about prices really dint answer my question so i will ask it again...does anyone havve any real info about a dispensery in diamond bar....i am a dbar resident and a patient and i have to go all the way to whittier to get my meds and i always hit traffic so in total i usually lose around 2 hours every time i need to get meds which is very strenuous....if anyone has any real info on the dbar co-op i would reallly reallllllly appreciate it..

Sorry, I meant to check out a co-op tracking site for any info on a Diamond Bar location....I'm not seeing anything but at least you aren't too far from other spots....I have a minimum 30 mile drive to get to the nearest one to me

I haven't used any delivery services, but what I've read is they generally charge more which is understandable, so I would only use those services if you have a hard time getting around. If I see anything I'll post an update.

ive used a couple of delivery services and the prices werent too bad. the alohahealinghouse.com sells it by the ounce but when you buy 65 dollar medicine he cuts it down to 50 bucks an 8th. they had some really good hash also for 40 a gram. they also deliver 24 hours a day seven days a week so that is very convienent. i know that they are thinking of opening a co op in diamond bar because i talked to one of the girls who worked at the pomona co op at a bar and she said after they got raided that they were looking into diamond bar. the city of diamond bar has put a 60 day ban on co ops for the time being, i read this in one of the city council transcripts. a co op is where you pick up medical marijuana and diamond bar is a city. hope some of this helps you sameer. i live in chino which is near you so i hope a IE co op opens too. but seriously try the delivery. i got a free brownie my first delivery.

thanks a lot for your help guys i appreciate it... sorry if i was rude in the earlier post... ill defenitley give the delivery thing a try its not that im immobilized its just hard getting killing 2 hours trying to get meds especially during the week....and the weekends are no better in terms of work...alright guys im off but thank you so much again for all ur sincere help and if you do eventually come across more dbar co-op info please just pass that info on via this thread...thank you again
