i have a really, really, really strange stigma towards people who 'talk' properly on message boards... like for some reason, i immediately relate well-edited posts about nothing in particular to their posters' level of arrogance. i mean, we're just chatting here ya know? you dont have to write every post like its some persuasive religious doctrine that will be read by millions of potential followers. and grammar nazis piss me off, too. basic punctuation and paragraph breaks are blessings for the eyes, but you dont have to fcking pick people apart over it.
tldr version: i see little/no editing and i think 'casual, friendly' - i see tons of heavy editing and shit and i think 'arrogant assmunch' but its probably just me
this doesnt apply to all situations, like if youre writing an informative article meant to help out your fellow forumgoers then by all means make it look publishable. but if you're quick replying to 'WHATS UR FAVORITE STONED QUESTION TO ASK?' then it doesnt need to read like homer...love the ones you\'re given.
