Amsterdam doesn't seem to have a problem with it

It's all about our Govt. making money along with the corporate stealing and big salaries. The little guy, small town dealer will always be the one busted for the revenue. Be realeased and busted again but the big shipments that come in overseas won't be challenged because the Govt is probably in on it and it makes them money. They don't want to leagalize it because they can't find a way to tax it. Also, if it does become legal, they probably would put fillers in it (like cigs) so it's not as pure in which people would have to buy more to get the same effect.
Gorilla's Gal Reviewed by Gorilla's Gal on . Amsterdam doesn't seem to have a problem with it After all the money I've spent to pass a test for a new job as a professional who is leaving another job of 10 years (they hate to see me go). Everything has checked out with the references etc, why is the U.S.A so difficult? All I do is smoke. Alcohol has gotten me into trouble in my past when I used to drink. They have legal perscriptions that are sooo addicting and the drug co. are getting rich. Oxys are bad and lead to cheaper Heroin addiction. Drugs to keep your dick hard are OK. Is Rating: 5

If we want change, we have to do something about it. I switched to Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. I agree with him on almost every issue. He said marijuana should be regulated at the local level, if that, and we should repeal all federal marijuana laws. That means, not even state laws.

Think of how quickly weed would be decriminalized, then legalized, if it was left up to that states to decide. You, as a resident of your state, have a lot more say in your state government than you do as an American at the federal level. It's just ratios.

Also, there would be no raids on the dispensaries in California, and you could cross state lines into a cool state like Cali, and not worry about being prosecuted by federal law.

Here is the first part of the NORML podcast where NORML interviews Ron Paul. I subscribe to it. It's free, by the way.

the answer to all comments is MONEY! no money can be made on weed but plenty is to be made on every other drug that will damage your health or fuck you up.

I think your a little backwords, now i know what your mean. Just if you trace back the original illegalization, it was done because so much money can be made on weed for a variety of uses. (not just smoking)

and not only does america think it's laws are right, it is so insular to think it can sort out other countries problems, through captialism and christianity.

Yeah right . There are a multitude of products that can be made from the Hemp plant . IN fact for 200 + years it was a leading cash crop of the americas . Hemp is the most valuable plant on earth in terms of uses to humanity .

This situation does come down to money . Big petrochemical companies control the US government and want to maintain there monopolies on synthetic fibers , plastics etc .

If hemp was legalised it would be a multibillion dollar cash crop industry . Don't give us this BS about the Government not wanting to legalise because they cant make money off of cannabis . A lot of people cannot Grow weed like people around here can . IF cannabis was legalised it would appear in cigarette packs and be taxed . People like the easy way and would simply go down and buy a cheap pack of Kind bud rather than spending time tending plants . Also big operations would appear to utilize the economics of scale .. . I would not be surprised at all to see willie nelson and snoop dog ( for example ) set up thousand acre fields of the stuff once it was legalised . ... These big guys would have killer strains that are in clone form and we could be forced to buy from them to get the best of the best .. they obviously would not let people get there hands on primo seeds of there killer strains

these operations would be taxed . Coffee shops would appear and be taxed . etc etc

It is BS to say that there is no money in it for the Government .

One last thought , it is easy for some of you who are not living in the US to run us down and tell us how bad we have it in our country ... How do you know ?? I have smoked weed for close to 30 years and I have had minimal problems with the Law during that time . IF you live in the right state it is practically legalised and nobody cares how much you are smoken . The US could be better but dont start saying how bad it is over here . We have some of the Best strains in the entire world and A-dam is trying to copy as many of them as they can . IF it was soo damn bad over here why do they like to come over here and snag all of our good strains to improve there own ?? PLus I dont see much Cannabis growing outside in northern europe like is does over here . NO---- The us is not a bad place at all to live as a smoker . It could be better but it is awesome anyways .
