Ok, so i'll be straight up with everyone, though i'm sure to get many a scathing response.

I'm in college, and i want to grow. The problem is that i live in a dorm (go figure right). I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has ever grown in a dorm room, or to get people's general opinions. Thanks!

You could grow in a dorm room.

1) get a single room, or a double with someone who wants to share the experience
2) grow in a locked closet
3) don't tell anyone
4) don't overdo; grow no more than 4 plants and use the KISS method
5) be prepared to remove all evidence when you leave; plan cycles
6) don't tell anybody
7) do all your mixing of soil or nutrients at 4 AM, or when most people will be asleep
8) make stealth, especially odor control a number 1 priority. Grow a nonsmelly variety or have seirous carbon scrubbers
9) don't tell nobody
10) share your weed
11) keep it on the QT

Incredibly more relaxing, though I would never consider throwing my college education away just for a little Dorm-Grown-Pot. You should definitely consider rooming up with 2 or 3 friends and renting a home. Not only will you be able to safely grow, without the same amount of restraints that a Dorm room has, but you'll never have to worry about rules and curfew or whatever it may be. Parties until 7 in the morning, no problem!

Oh, and did I mention building credit? You'll love that sutff when your older, I promise.

A lot of times Universities require freshmen live in a dorm their first year, so getting an apartment right now may not be possible.

Anyways, if you have the balls to do it.. by all means go for it. Just make sure it's completely stealth and Don't Tell ANYONE! Have an old comp. case laying around? I have seen some nice bud grown in a pc case that nobody would take a second glance at. It's totally possible. :thumbsup:

If you're really that interested, look up ICMag on google and check out their forums and all the micro grows. And READ READ READ!!

When you get out of the dorm and into an apt is when you can start looking to do cab grows, etc. Until then, K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid)

I wouldn't trade my experiences living in the dorm for anything. You meet so many people and have alot of friends. Planned functions with opposite sex dorms. Plus, some dorms let you build and paint in them and make your room however you want. That would be ideal if you grow in a dorm. Oh yeah, it's all coming back. I remember the good ol days of sneaking around on tops of buildings, climbing on top of the elevator and taking control of it. Once we filled the elevator shaft full of ballons, and for a month or so there was spuratic popping going on when the elevator moved. Quazing stuff, preferably TVs. That's when you have a lookout at the bottom of your 7-story building to signal when it's safe to throw the electonics, or furniture, or whatever off the top, sometimes when they're plugged in, other times when a tape recorder as at the bottom to get the audio on record. You can actually hear the TV coming as soon as leaves the top. Try that in a house. And boy, do you get popular when you turn legal drinking age.
