I wouldn't grow at college ever...expulsion and jail aren't a fun thing to have to explain to your parents.

i can see the call now "Hi mom, I'm in jail because i was growing weed in my dorm rooms closet".

But if you feel you can pull it off, more power to you.

i agree with opie. its probably quite doable (may depend on the college and if it does inspections or whatnots). but even 4 plants could become risky towards the end of flowering as they smell more n more....

ok guys i have a question. i too live in a dorm but my buddie has a single room and in his room there was a small locked door that we popped off the hinges revealing an attic maby 100 to 200 feet long. and about 6 feet tall in the middle that slants down to about 4 on the sides. if only me and him knew about this do you think we could pull it off. the school wouldnt go in there because its "supposed" to be locked

A buddy of mine got kicked out of the dorms for just getting caught with a joint on his desk. How did they ever catch him? Supposedly the whole hall outside his door stunk, and according to the Resident Director, her eyes were watering it was so strong. So a $732 fine later and he's moved in with some buddies and gets to grow there.

My recommendation would be to find some buddies who live close to campus (walking distance) and borrow their basement. Or just do what I plan on doing and wait until next year, get a place of your own, and grow your own. Until then don't risk it.

First rule about grow club, DON'T talk about grow club.

Having had some college experience I'd say do not under any circumstances try to grow in your dorm room. RA's and Campus security do not have to and rarely do consider your rights as a citizen... nor do they have to. I could just see you hanging out with friends one night, making a slight amount of noise, and having a complaint send you right out the door and into a jail cell. It's not your property and you shouldn't treat it like it is. At the very least I would recommend getting very familiar with how your campus security operates.

Lastly, to reiterate again, again, and again.... It's only a secret if you're the only one who knows about it. I wouldn't trust my mother, wife, or anyone with information that could lead to getting pinched.

Listen to Stinky, PLEASE LISTEN TO STINKY!!!!! When I was in the dorm, my freshman year, although the RA's weren't thoroughly checking every little corner or closet, it would only take one person to rat on you or for someone to see your grow, to get.............

Absolutely NOT worth it. If you want to grow weed, go get all your supplies and everything you need and have a friend of yours who lives off campus to grow with your supplies and take the risk for you (that is if you could get a friend to do that).:stoned:

Listen to Stinky and don't do it. Once harvest time rolls around the odor will be very noticeable, plus you have extremely limited privacy!

I too am in college and am on my second gro, first was also here at college. I would say NO to growing in the dorms, i just think that too much could go wrong. I kno im my dorm room freshman year there were about 2000 people in and out of my room that year, some i knew othere i didnt, thats just how it goes in an wnviornment were people are looking to meat as many people as possible.

I would spend ur first year in college researching and figuring out how to grow, maybee pick up some of the necessary supplies when u have some free money. Then next year move into an appartment with a friend who will share interest and excitment in ur hobby. Now u will at least have a head start when u get ur appartment and u can get going.

However if u do get an appartment and start groing in it, remember that u have a landlord who will most likely be able to come into ur appartment at thier discretion and for any reason they like.,..... Dont give them a reason. I had to chop my first grow about 3 weeks befor i would have liked b/c my landlord decides to inspect the appartment b/c of a dirty kitchen that one of the maintenance people saw when they came to work on our sink....
