can anyone tell me what is the most wattage that an indoor grower can use for cultivation without raising any suspicion? i mean total number of KW/h of the household during a month of lights on 24/7 or 18/6.....from your intesive growing experience in the past how many kilowatts per hour do not raise any questions especially if you have a landlord? i hope you understand the question....thanx

It is a sad but true story about police using electric bills to build a case against people.

It usually goes something like this...
1- somebody tips police..
2- police check your electrical usage.
3- big guy with dog walks by your house.. dog smells weed and tattles
4- police come to your house and treat you like a fucking RAPIST
5- you get scared, the police offer you a deal, and "you" narc on someone else..

In carlsbad.. the police looked at a neighborhood that was mostly rental properties. They found out what the average useage of electricity was.. they then picked a handfull of homes that had unusually high electrical useage based on the average of the other homes in the same neighborhood.. The cops then walked by with a dog... The dog smelled the chronic.. the cops came by with warrants

The only eason that this story made the news was because a dog made a bad call and the police raided a house that had 4 tv's 4 computers and a bunch of other electricity guzzeling products... the police said.. ooops sorry .. and went on their way.... and busted 12 more homes in the neighborhood.

We probably would have never heard about this story except fopr the fact that the cops fucked up...

on the other hand many many many people have 300-800 dollar electricity bills with no problem

I walk into a Chapoltes Mexican restraunt the other day.. small place... 20 x 70..

they had 200 100 watt light bulbs.. fucking crazy.. 200 x 100 is 20,000 watts.. that doesn't include ovens and shit...

well a good safe wattage 150, 250 and maybe 400 watts. You should change stuff around your house to more energy efficiant products when growing too. like change regular incandesent bulbs to Compact Floroesents. A 19 watt CFL can replace a 75 watt incandesnt. This way your electric bills stay around the same.

To make an estimate on electric costs, just follow these steps.
1) check your latest electric bill and find out how much it cost for a kilowatt hour

the us supreme court has passed laws preventing cops to:
A. Do infrared screening
B. Check electric bills
C. Do flyovers of private land
D. Use a drug sniffing dog on personal property (or aimed at from public)
without a warrant, so they would need a tipper from a resedent, and the electric company is fine, just get a copy of their privacy statement.
