What to look for.

I was just wondering what you guys look for when buying a sack of dank. I'm gettin ready to buy some tonight or tomorrow but I was just wondering what you all look for. Christal's, manicured buds, hairs etc....

hairs for sure if its not hairy then i won't buy it

also i kinda like my dank sticky

If it doesnt have hairs you wont buy it? The hairs have such little thc content.

So If I showed you bud w/ no hairs but w/ Chrystals all over it you wouldn't buy it?

I think the smell can greatly determine the potency of the bud. Smoking it is also a very obvious way of telling potency. I always sample the bud before a big pickup. I like to know what my money is going into.

If you can smell it as soon as you can see it, it's good stuff. But, not all good stuff will smell dank. Dank is really wet.

The prettiest tasting stuff will smell sweet, and, knock you off your feet.

The hairs [pistils] have ABSOLUTLY nothing to do with potency, and neither does smell. INFACT, you cant even tell the potency from the amount of crystalls - it's what's IN the crytalls that you can see that gets you stoned.

You can only EVER make an educated guess.

yup, try a hit or two. I've seen (smelled) beautiful manicured hairy buds that were absolutely NFG at all. It smelled like "the real thing" too.

anyway...
i look at all aspects, how fluffy/dense the nugs are, smell, color, etc...

i always get a sample before i buy though...
