I am new to outdoor growing and am actually kind of paranoid about growing outdoors ... but i guess it would be better than getting caught growing indoors...

I was wondering how hard it would be to find 2 or 3 plants in a very thick well grown up area ... it has a lot of undergrowth and pine trees about 7' to 12' tall.. the road i would have to use to get there is traveled by ATV's and such ... mostly people getting drunk and riding dirt roads ... both sides of the road are different hunting clubs.. but i know where the hunting stands and greenfields are... other than heavy traffic on the weekend by ATV's , it is pretty much secluded... it is about 30 min. from town but only about 5 min from my house.. the ATV's very rearely leave the trail ... but i have spotted a Forestry officer in the area about 6 months ago.. i have really been watching this place and know where to plant and where not to... it is around 1,600 acres ... so i guess what i am asking is how far would the smell travel?? And, as long as i dont tell anyone, how hard would it be for someone to find it? (like the forestry officer or coppers) If it helps any it is in the deep country of Alabama..

I just want to post, because... although you might get tips here, your question is unappropiate.

Maybe you're looking to calm your insecurities with members here saying "yeah! It's safe dude"... but, even with your lengthy description, there's no way to know man.

You have to take that decision yourself.
    It's all about perception...

    Hope everything goes as planed!

do you think hunters from the hunting club ever go there? if so, find a new place. id sugest to grow in a swamp using buckets, since people usually dont like walking in swamps. and try to never make a visible path. good luck man, and remember that theres always a chance

You can never tell who will notice, i have my plant in the back yard and have had big partys and cookouts and nobody ever notices!
They just blend with the rest of the greenery!
So its hard to say if anyone will notice.

I have thought about doing a total outdoor grow. I decided against it though. 1. I would always be checking the plants. Thats is way to suspicious. 2. Bugs would murder your plants. 3. Gophers voles and moles would be everywhere. Moles are ok but gophers would kill you. Indoors or in a backyard or hothouse where you have total control is really the best in my opinion.
I do have some California Skunk Sativia that I would love to grow outdoors though! I was going to plant it with some wild bushes we have growing here that do look like the Skunk.
I was convinced not to do that since it would look strange if I was always going to check on one plant. So it will have to grow in the greenhouse. Dr. Bloor

he's right aobut the bugs. luckily, theres a brand called "safer" that makes a very effective, safe pesticide for your plants, even in flowering. theres also liquid animal repellants.
