lighting probs.....help
hiya, i am growing two plants at the mo, and was using 2x 25w flouros, i am half way through flowering, and i just brought a 400w hps bulb to replace the flouros. but the plants dont seem to appreciate it lol. the top leaves have gone white, but they not crispy, and the top white pistols have shrivelled up, the others furthur down are fine. what am i doing wrong, or is this normal under more light. the light was about 3" away, but i just moved it so its about 1' away, will this help?

The HPS should be 10 to 12 inches from the plant.

Those leaves were not ready for the light. raise it alot higher until the plant starts to grow normal again. Then lower it until it does not burn the leaves. I would put it back under the floros until it starts thriving. Then start with 2 feet and lower it every couple of days.
