    Are these dead?? (pics)

    Hello all,

I have been germnating these BB seeds since Thursday night last week, they all popped and i can see the root its not completely white it look kinda brown. I germed 6 seeds(2bubblicious, 1 skunk and 3BB none of the BB popped) i have pic but my camera is kinda cheap so you can barely see. So what do you think are they dead, should i throw them out and start more or give it a little more time?? Starting a hydro grow, and i would hate to out my seeds in soil. But i REALLY hatekilling the babies, and fear my whole bag of seed are duds cause all 3 didnt pop, got them from nirvana and i dont hear much good about them.

    What do you think??

This sounds like something that happened to me a little while ago. Check the pH of the water in the paper towel.. I bet it's real acidic. That's what happened to mine the first time around when I tried to use 6.5 pH water to germinate. I used just straight tap water the second time around which where I live is very clean and has a pH of 7.0 and all three of my seeds germinated beautifully.

yea i agree with paht hed.. check your ph level of the paper towel.. otherwise i don't know what it could be.. maybe your heat source? check your ph though.... wait a few days and if nothing happened then theyre probably duds

Thick husked seeds can take up to and rarely over 2 weeks to pop. My advice would be to simply wait. Hopefully someone withnmore experience can tell you about the 'browning' but dont make any moves yet, you may be just fine!

Oh, taproots are very light sensitive, as they only have a certain amount of 'energy' so make sure these babies are not in sunlight!
    Good luck!
