I soak my seeds in water until they sink, then place them in a moist, but not dripping, paper towl in Tupperware. I store the container in a dark calm place. After a day or two check the seeds; you should begin to see white sprouts. Take it from there.
CultureCherryPopper Reviewed by CultureCherryPopper on . Problem with sprouting Ok, so for the past month or so I have attempted to germinate/sprout seeds. The first 5-6 seeds I put in a moist sponge in my window and I kept it moist everyday. That failed after about a week. The second time, I went with the test tube method of germination. A couple of seeds put their first little root out, so I put them into a styrofoam bowl with some potting soil and planted them a half-inch. That failed after over a week. Now, I've got about the same quality seeds as last time. Rating: 5
