Moving from England

This aint sounding too good. Maybe I should just think of moving somewhere else in England. It seem likes America and Canada have the right idea about letting people in there country, but England will let anyone in and give them money to sponge off our economy.

If you want to move to Canada, you could always look at a smaller community. Red Deer is a smaller community smack between two larger cities. The rent/property is cheap, and its a bout 1.5hrs north to Edmonton, and 1.5 hrs south to Calgary. All three communities have excellent bud, as alot comes from BC.

Well, typically the employers that will sponsor people here in the U.S. are those for degreed professionals. Engineers and technical types. Physicans. Researchers. Journalists. Teachers and academicians. I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I've heard of most frequently. The reason regular hourly wage type employers don't sponsor people from other countries for lower-wage jobs is because we have plenty of non-degreed workers ourselves who should rightly get first crack at those jobs, and typically employers who don't pay a good bit of money aren't going to subsidize someone's international move anyway. Likewise, people who don't make a good salary aren't usually thinking about moving around the world to work anyway. Then, of course, we have plenty of illegal immigrants competing for our less high-paying jobs as well.

Your best bet in coming here, Dean, would be to see about coming over here on a student visa to study someplace in the U.S. Can you revisit that plan?

I've been to England once, as a child. I remember trying to get the guards at Buckingham Palace to laugh to even move. lol

Yeah thanks for explaining what I meant properly basically I think you have to get a visa so that you can stay in the country or something like that and for someone to sponsor you lots of paperwork involved and can also take a very long time to get it all processed.

Yeah, all these Polish are begining to piss me off. I used to work with a bunch of them. All they do is come here to get 4x the pay they do in Poland then send the money back home, what good is that for our country. When I worked with them they would hardly ever say hello to you and then say they couldnt understand me because "I had a strange accent", and they were speaking Polish in England!!! Grrrr. Im sure there are plenty others who dont work though and just get freebies, the goverment likes handing them out if your not English.
