Dean, I think Cannabis was trying to point out that you may face some immigration and/or work permit hurdles. They can be overcome here in the U.S., but you usually need an employer to sponsor you in this country so you can get the proper work visa. I'm not sure how those things work between the U.K. and Canada, and it may well be easier there. It's just something you will need to look into and plan around.
