Thx for your replies. I am currently using a florescent coil bulb since it is in the vegetative cycle. I keep the light on for about 18 hours a day. Ever since I transplanted it, the stem has been growing bigger. It has been a month now and I would say it is twice as wide. Maybe I just need to wait longer?

However, I have my plant incased in an aluminum dome underneathe my lamp. I am only doing this because my walls are not white. Should I still keep the incasing?

Oh and another question, if I got a blue tinted florescent bulb would this help to speed up growth?
B1!ndZ3&0 Reviewed by B1!ndZ3&0 on . How can my plant improve? Well my plant has been growing since early July and ever since I put it inside my house in early September its growth has improved much more. It is a little stretched, and the leaves on the bottom do not grow as well as the top ones. Why is this occurring, and how can I improve the growth of the bottom leaves and get the stem bigger in diameter. Rating: 5
