Yes, all hail Tupac... Dude, you needs to grow up
How about Washignton, Franklin, Adams, or Martin Luther (the original, not King), Immanual Kant, John Locke, Ayn Rand (ok ok, maybe not so much, but her objectivist ideals sure do make sense), or even Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates? Of course, thats but a breif list, but all have had massive, massive influence over the course of world history.I see a red door and I want it painted black / No colors anymore I want them to turn black / I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes / I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

Tupac's cool and everything, but I think he's veeeeery far from being an important person in history. Same goes for Bob Marley and John Lennon. These people are the voices of movements, the spokespersons. However, they don't start the movement, they just give it a voice.
Like it or not, the most influential person, IMHO of the 20th century probably is Hitler. Influential doesn't mean it has to be in a good way.... He impacted the entire planet and directly or indirectly caused more change than anyone else in that century.Peter: [writing letter] Dear MacGuyver, Enclosed is a rubber band, a paper clip, and a drinking straw. I agree, F L E S H.. I would have to say Einstein, also.
My second choice would be Jesus. Whether he was real or not, or the son of God or not, the legend of Jesus has affected almost everyone and everything on this planet. If he had never existed, or - if the case is that he didnt exist - he had never been 'made up' then the world we currently live in would be completely different. The same goes for God. (PS, i'm not saying that either of them exist or existed, or that they didnt.. just that the 'idea' of them exists, and this 'idea' has affected the world more than anyone in history)
