Though, yes, we're different than other animals, I don't personally think we're any better or worse than they are. We can raise our species up on a pedestal and call ourselves superior, or knock ourselves down and call ourselves really f*cked up monkeys, but I don't think either extreme is accurate or beneficial to our situation. In reality, we're all part of the same web of life, we all rely on each other. From a certain angle, one could say that we're all the same organism.
