I think evolution is good for describing or explaining how lower form animals can develop into higher form animals yet the mystery of the application of evolution to humans is one that still plagues us.

As the Bible states "let us make man in our image"

I think we should pay very close attention to this phrase, who is "us"? Clearly we are talking of more than one, we must be talking of a race or a certain population.

The Bible statement also describes how man already existed, and that man was simply "changed" evolution also states that we did not evolve from the animals present we see today (pay attention to this), that they have also been on the same evolutionary path as man, so what caused this dramatic what I would call acceleration of evolution? Maybe a good explanation would be that there was an external catalyst.

Wouldnt you agree?

Clearly we are in an age of supreme technology (HA!), rationality and resoning in which we can interpret the Bible related to current thinking and one of these thoughts being that alien intervention in the chance happening of man did take place.

And also it does not say anything about creating man, it states let us change or evolve man to be in the likeness of OUR image.

In other words, lets change man to suit what we want.

Our image.
