About three days back, I ate a dime I picked up at work last Friday. I have smoked and eaten quite a bit in the past, but I was not at all prepared for this experience.

Cannabis never seemed to affect me as much as it did my friends; I never got anything close to messed up, or even a little inebriated on MJ before; I was always just relaxed and maybe felt some good vibes :rastasmoke: :hippy: , but that's it. I always have prefered eating over smoking.

Saturday, when I gobbled down the bag on some margarine-covered toast, that's what I imagined it being like. Instead, about an hour after the initial buzz came on...I began to trip, hard. I saw strange illusions that I can barely remember :wtf:, my head was swimming, and I became extremely paranoid; I could hear someone walking outside my room, and somehow that sound became the sound of police at the door. I felt a weird form of the munchies where I wasn't hungry, had no appetite, and all food tasted horrible (black bean chili with Fritos was particularly gross), but I couldn't stop eating. I ended up throwing up a while later, and only felt right again when I woke up the next day.

Has anyone had something like this happen? It has turned me off MJ (temporarily I'm sure), but in a way I'm glad at the reduction of temptation, for now at least. It blew my mind how something I usually think of as being as strong (to me) as kava-kava felt almost like LSA (a drug I can't stand).
