I would suggest being in a comfortable place, with one or two good friends. Smoke a bowl. Wait a bit see how you feel. If its not what you want smoke another. I can usually smoke 3-4 bowls and feel pretty good, but thats of high quality bud, which is a major factor in how you will get. Just play it by ear, and be relaxed before you blaze up.

alright thanks for all the advice and all. yea i think im gonna smoke with 2 of my cousins...their morning routine is wake up, blaze, and then eat...then do it later on.haha so yea. either that or at a party on saturday.but the thing is i dont want to wait that long, but i guess it would probably be a better idea if i did wait until then, otherwise i would be doing it by myself.

and yea its really small, the head shop i went to has some sick stuff. the funny thing is i was going to buy weed with the money i spent on it haha. it was like $8

Smoking by yourself is fine, but for you first couple of times, it might be best to be with people with experience, then you can ask questions. Knowledge is power

My advice is to just relax. Take a hit or two, wait a bit, then if you havent reach the desired high, hit it again. Id love to burn with my cousins. Think about it, you will be enjoying your first smoke with your family members, what could be better than that?

Just fill the bowl, take a few hits, than wait about 5 minutes. If you don't feel anything, take a few more and wait.

As others have mentioned though, it isn't uncommon to not get high the first few times you smoke.
