well i heard this last night and thought ill post this and get people feed back...


the Canadian Dollar officially (well last night) was equal to the Americans. Do you think this will effect ether country?

This is for sure it will affect the 2 contry... First the USA used to get stuff from us for cheap, this is not the case now, so there will be less sales in the USA. Next it's not good to tourism too... But there is some other good point, more for consumers, we will see (if this stays at the same rate) the price drop in the markets here in Canada. It is now worth the trip pass the border, at least for someone in Quebec, to go buy something like a car in the USA and they do a lot of savings (thing that the taxes un Qubec are almost at 14%). Let me know what you think about this !

It's not necessarily going to be cheaper buying in the states - remember, customs fees ain't cheap.

I might do a road trip down south next summer though, now that it's cheaper.
