A Trip To Paradise
In honor of Oct. 1 and geos ?? Official Make A Thread Day? here is my 2nd thread ever on cannacom.
I take lots and lots of road trips. Probably at least one a week. These are pictures from my latest trip.
This is Butte Creek Canyon, between Chico and Paradise, CA. It is known as ?? The mini-grand canyon? Very breathtaking, and awe inspiring. I got chills, and realized how miniscule I was in this world. Very surreal.( I was really stoned too, so that might have had something to do with it.)
Beautiful! These pictures don??t do it justice, but I hope you enjoy them.
Also a picture of an overturned big rig we passed on the way . No one was hurt. Just looked cool.happiestmferoutthere Reviewed by happiestmferoutthere on . A Trip To Paradise
Unfortunately I guess it's a pretty popular place for suicide. There are dozens of cars down there.( There is no barrier to speak of.) There is even a memorial plaque up there. Very eerie to realize so many people died down there.

Skyway drive eh? A road I will always remember, straight top to Paradise. The aroma of skunk.....man memories, I miss my cousins!
Simply beautiful pictures.
But that's what my cousin told me, that people tend to drive themselves into the butte to commit suicide. That road definitely has history.

You bet!!
I guess the county just bought it and are going to put up barriers. They are tired of pulling people out. ( Not that that will stop someone who really wants to do the deed).

Aw shucks. But when I see those pictures, were you at that point, on the right side going south by the big bend? I just remember having just the same gorgeous view on those pictures! It just evokes so many memories.
Do you live in Paradise? I spent a week there with my cousins, and it some of the best memories, just straight tokin' with my cousins. Great toking culture.

Yes... Lookout Point I think its called. Just breathtaking.
I live about 100 miles away. As I mentioned, I'm big on road trips. We'll go several hundred miles, if the mood hits us.
