I wish it was, however I also pay a fair chunk of my wages as national insurance to cover the NHS this is over and above income tax, god knows what petrol tax is used for it certaily is not used for maintaining the roads and transport system.

Nightcrewman Reviewed by Nightcrewman on 10-01-2007. $10.00 a gallon Just been down to petrol station to fill up and another tax rise by the good old English government has now pushed the price up to 98p per litre so that makes it the equivilent of $10.00 a gallon of which $7.50c is pure taxation, you wouldn't think I lived in an oil producing country would you ? :( Cheers NCM Getting poorer by the day!
