I am going to Voodoofest at the end of October and i was wondering if i should try to sneak weed in or just buy some when i get in there.

i too am going to this same fest, i would love to see what people say as ive been contemplating this for a while. Idk where i could buy it when i got there tho

Definitely just bring some in. It's a music festival, the security shouldn't be too tight. Put it in your sock or bra or something. They're not going to strip search you.

thats what i was planning on doing, its what i did last year, but last year my pipe that was in my shoe fell out, nobody cared but it made me nervous about doing it this year.

Damn, you guys are lucky. Here in the States, in Georgia esp, you could get nailed severely for toking at a concert (now back in MY day - 1970 -1982), it wasn't a problem, but now, you'd better be careful!

I did toke a number with a nice young fellow sitting next to me at the Roger Waters concert a month or so ago, who shared it with my old decrepit ass (I'm 50, short gray hair, overweight, etc), LOL.

First tokes in over 25 years. Damn, the Dark Side Of The Moon album NEVER sounded better, LOL!

Every festival I've ever been to or heard of is more or less the same: chilled out and safe. You should have no problem taking it in, just be cautious and put it in the bottom of your sleeping bag then roll it up, or something along those lines. Your shoe always works, but if it's a camping festival, why not put it in one of your bags? The shoe is reserved for a single show, but it has never failed me yet.

I've never been hassled at shows I've been to, be it a sold out crowd or one with 20 people. We smoke at all of them. ~

Seriously, MOST concerts I've been to here, and I've been to plenty the last four years, give folks hell/or arrest folks, for toking up.

The ONLY concert I went to that did NOT give anyone a hassle except for the staffers yelling at you, NO SMOKING, was the Roger Wtaers concert a month or so ago.

I got stoned there for the first time in over 25 years, thanks to a very nice young couple sitting next to me. God bless 'em, and if they read this, please IM me at any of the three IM's I have on my profile. And does anybody know if voodoofest is gong to be like bonaroo in how we sleep? Like, are we expected to camp out or are we expected to leave when the shows are over and get a hotel?

just roll up some joints and put them in the sock or elastic of your boxers. dont buy it there, im not really sure about voodoofest, but a lot of times undercover cops thrive at those kind of things and catch people left and right.

voodoo fest isnt an overnight thing, at least it wasnt last year, idk if they might change with the three day thing but im pretty sure that u gotta get a hotel. Smoking there isnt a problem, everybody real chill, theres always a bunch of smoking circles all around, its just that technically they arent supposed to allow drugs or paraphernalia into the grounds, so if they find it, depending on who searches you, they could take it.
