I grew a Northenlight on prefertilized soil on my balkonny, I added a special fertilizer for the floweringperiod.. I had a good harvest, with a high quality (outdoor) weed. The only thing I don't like is the taste of the weed. Is there a way to improve the taste? I heard about adding suger to the water at the end of the f-period.
A friend of mine told me that adding potatopeal to the soil also improves the taste.
Please help me if you know anything about my question or the suger/potato issue.

The last week b4 u harvisted, u should of flushed it through.
What that meens is that u should of just given it fresh water with nothing else
in it ,this would of flushed the plants from its ferts taking any bad tasting crap away.And by the way the sugar thing works as well. ?

Actually...two weeks before I harvested my plants I didn't give any fertilizers anymore but only clean fresh water.
Could you tell me more about the sugar thing?

i would not advise any type's of sugar's in the flushing's,i tried karo syrup a couple of year's ago on a grow that was a few day's from harvest at my friend's insistance,it was catastrophic,it formed a putrid smelling foam in my reservoir and nearly killed off the plant's,the foam i learned later was anerobic bacteria,harmful to human's and plant's,and i had to wash everything with bleach(pump,air wand's,tray's,fill-drain part's)i will never do that again needless to say.i now use additives to enhance the flavor and appearence(gen-hydro,floralicious,grow-bloom).....bonbon
