most of the plants died once it started raining non stop for a couple of days

Ok, I don't have a degree in Botany or anything, but when the temperatures drop below freezing and start freezing puddles, the vegetation here dies off, including cannabis plants.

I'm guessing that the reason they died had very little to do with the couple days of rain, but more likely due to cold temperatures.

    noo it was the rain
they grew fine until the rain came and water logged the leaves and the leaves went very dark in colour and drooped heaps then died

the rain would actually keep them from freezing, they are right a plant really cant handle freezing temps if it is not an evergreen. sorry, but that was freezing damage not rain damage, it can take a couple of days to show. it turned the leaves to mush right?

I just wanna know if it'll work without trying it myself haha...I don't usually get zero or below temps here in the winter...I was just kind of wondering what the point was where it was too cold for the plant. I actually still have about 2.5 months before it even finishes killing everything else off..

A light frost yes, because frost actually forms around 37 degrees F. But a freeze, anything below 32 they will not survive.

also the plants will slow or stop growing at between 40 and 50 degrees.
