Clay pipes??

One of my homies decided to make a couple pipe out of some sculpey clay he had layin around. Anyone know if it's safe to use a sculpey clay pipe? I've heard that polymer clay releases hydrogen peroxide gases. If I used a high heat sealer would that help?

im in a ceramics class and my teacher says the clay wen its dry is cancerous to you lungs if you inhale it, but im not sure wat clay we use but i bet if you heat it so its like a glass outside feeling i would think that would be ok, but id also wanna know if its safe

I've got some high heat sealant thats supposed to prevent any damage to whatever you paint with it, it's made for engines, so I'm hoping that it will be enough to keep the pipe from like poisoning me.

I'm stoned...and I looked at that link...and then posted in that old ass thread because I forgot it was a link that I had clicked...ugh

And I wouldn't smoke out of clay period...but that's not based on any medical stories or anything.
