Classic Rock?
Of the list, I would say Robin Trower is probably the most overlooked.

Yep, I still have Bridge of Sighs on LP.
Also, Trowers earlier work with Procol Harum deserves recognition as well.To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

Some of you classic rockers will dig this tour -
http://www.classicalbumslive.com/
I try to catch them often and recently saw them do Queen's "A Night At The Opera". They do pretty good work and it's as close as you will ever get to seeing your old faves one last time.
I'm diggin a lot of the new stuff also and caught Interpol about 2 weeks ago for a good show.
I just bought tix for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kings of Leon for Holloween night.
Go and check out your local, indie music scene. You'd be surprised how many good, new bands you'll discover.

Not classic rock v modern rock or anything like that OK!
Please crawl back into your playpen and stop your childish attempts to instigate an argument .

yeah, and how many posts did it take someone to say modern rock cant compare. i give people on this website credit for knowing as much about music as you can find on local radio or on now volume 20 and maybe what they see on mtv bet or headbangers ball, so i will say i give most of the people on this site little to no credit for knowledge of music. i am glad you got your laugh though. i was not trying to instigate argument, i would invite you to go look through one of the many threads on here where people are saying blah blah blah pink floyd was the last true band. after you hear the same shit so many times(and this is where my arrogant sense of knowledge comes in, meaning if these people had any knowledge theyd know rock isnt dead) it starts to wear on you. and i also hate the beatles, im just repeating what ive heard. so since we seem to be in agreement, it is all good.
