If you live North of Chicago, it would be advisable to transplant your females in mid-to-late spring...or after the last major frost of the year. Cannabis can tolerate some cold, but too many days of frost can and will lead to stunting, hermaphrodites, and other unsavory maladies.

Look into trusted seedbanks to find out which strain will work best for you. You may want to consider an early bloomer, to rule out any part that returning cold weather may play. WW seems to work well both inside and out, but I've heard it tends to be prone to fungus attacks and bud rot when subjected to the extreme climates of nature. There are plenty of other strains that seem to thrive in these conditions, so you'll just need to do a little more preparation and you should be good to go.

Good luck to ya! :rastasmoke:
