    harvest question

First of all, I want to thank all you kind people for helping me out. I just harvested, hang dried for 5 days, trimmed, and jard 2 of my girls and they look and smell great. I do have 1 problem though. The top cola on my 1 of my remaining 3 has a ton of amber trichs, but the lower buds are still clear. Can I go ahead and harvest the top cola, and let the rest of the plant go for a few more weeks, or will that srew the plant up? Thanks for all the help. My 2nd grow was alot better than my first.

Sure ya can, if the top is ready to go, you can cut it off and give the rest a few more days. I saw it in a high times grow video once...

    harvest question

Will it slow down bud growth if I top it? I heard topping sets you back a couple of weeks.

    harvest question

I just pulled the 2 brown buds off the stem. They were a bit dry. I put them under the scope and everything looked normal. I dont think it was mold. They were like dark red, nearly brown. I wrapped them in a paper towel and they were dry this morning. AWESOME! I dont know why they changed color? The rest of the plant is still green with red hairs. Those 2 small buds were totally dark red looking. But it smoked great. They were in the middle of the top cola. Thanks

Yeah, but why did only a couple of buds turn color, and not all of them?

    harvest question

I've just heard about 2nd harvest and the search for more informations brought me here.
From what I understood, you harvest the top 1/3, trim here and there then replace in vegetative state for some time then back to flowering.
I'll try this, harvesting again after only 2 months would be great.

    harvest question

yep you can do this. but your next harvest wil be smaller buds and a little smaller weight wise.
youcan take more than 1/3. you can take up to 3/4 just leave some bud and leaf material.
you can also do it more than once you may do it as many times as you like
