Vapor D, if you're so suspicious that you see sinister intent in the mere directions for filling out those fields, you still have a choice not to provide that information, in case you weren't aware. It's called finding another forum. The board is legitimately working to obtain information for the expansion of our medical area and also to have people accurately state their ages, which was the actual motivation behind the requirement for people to complete those fields, several of which were recently added into the profile at the same time.

I think there are some valid concerns and issues that haven't been cleared up there.

Oh yeah.......this is a government owned site designated to bust pot smokers and ONLY pot smokers. That's why we no longer permit talk of other psychotropics and created the over 18 rule. We have our hands so full with the pot smokers that we didn't have time to bust crack heads or kids.

Another thing.....this is an open web site for all to see including the man. Now if ANYONE is stupid enough to post your location, pics, etc.......hell, why not just go outside your home and scream it out like in the Johnsonville brat commercials.

If you really want to write about a conspiracy, find one that might actually exist and post it in the proper forum.

First I want to say I never suggested or even considered the possibility that Canncom is a government run site. That was someone else. The reason I posted my question in the first place was because I was worried that a policy or practice here may inadvertantly be putting some members at risk. My intention, as always was to strengthen the community and the site.

There was nothing on you about closing the threads.....it's the subject matter in my opinion. The statement above says it all........people in here "should be" adults and part of that is making intelligent decisions. IF anyone is dumb enough for posting their home town, pics, and statements of being a grower or smoker; who's putting who at risk?

THEN we have asshat comments like "maybe" this site is government ran.......what a joke! THAT is why I closed that thread.

I'm closing this one out and hopefully you understand my/our position on this matter.
