Seems like a fairly simple answer to me, Vapor D. For demographic research purposes, particularly in targeteing how the site's expanded medical marijuana area should be structured currently and expanded in the future, and for overall site direction, too. Also as demographic information for advertisers current and future.

I don't think the question has any sinister or ulterior motivation.

if I'm not mistaken, that Medical Marijuana query came along about the same time as the expanded Medical section in the Forums ... I noticed that subtle change, so I didn't balk at the added question ... no worries ... :jointsmile:

Maybe I over reacted when I saw it but I think I have a legitimate concern here. First of all the question was mandatory for me to answer if I want to edit my profile, my concern comes in where you may be helping law enforcement decifer between patients and social users/growers therefore helping them target people who will help them look good in the media. As opposed to busting sick people. I just think it should be up to the individual if they choose to disclose any personal info.
Also the tone of " If you do not live in a State with medical marijuana laws, DO NOT say yes. " I didn't like it at all.
