Favorite month? and why?

Fall is probably my favorite season because I do not like humidity and I am just in awe of the scenery. I near New England and I just love country landscape in Fall.

I think its also the best time to fall in love because winter comes, but your passion keeps you both warm.

Doesn't elude me. Two words: birthday cake. Reason enough to like a month in my book!

Also presents. A celebration of the continuation of life as opposed to death. Candles. The idea that your parents were hot enough for eacher at least once to conceive, and maybe even plan out, a baby. Heavens yes, there are lots of reasons to like your birthday month. . . .

October also, not really sure why, Autumn starting, get to break out my hoody, Halloween.. and someone mentioned Oktoberfest, which is actually a celebration that takes place in September lol.. but people in other countries that emulate the German festival tend to celebrate in October so I guess that's ok

ohh yeah forgot, my b-day is in October too, not sure if that ties in with why I like October so much cause I really don't make a big deal about b-days, be it mine or my children (my wife is a different story)

I guess the birthday month is nostalgic. Halloween is pretty kool, some good stories to tell perhaps. It's cold, which i don't like, but not too cold yet, which is chill.

Cold or hot really doesn't bother me, spent the winters of my life with skis and snowboards strapped to my feet, and the summers with nothing on my feet on the beach. God bless the harvest, October is here!

Yeah I guess if you like cake your b-day can be cool. It's always gross retail cake for me, at least that's how it was before I stopped having b-day cake.

I know it sounds pessimistic to say that acknowledging one's mortal anniversary is just putting another tick mark on the wall towards death, but I see myself as so optimistic about my lifespan that I prefer an outright lack of a temporal calender, and look at life as a series of timeless moments, which seems to elongate my life as I perceive it. For me, holidays and bdays are empty, perfunctory coercions meant to extricate people from their otherwise bland lives. I prefer to enrich every day to the point where I have no perception of a good or a bad day, and look forward to nothing except the blissful present. :smokin:

However I do enjoy my birth month, January, not because of bday intersection but because I like winter
