Help with first time cooking
Hello all. Ive only tried cooking with marijuana once before, and that was making MJ butter, not oil. Seems i didnt cook the marijuana enough for the cookies ( i only used 1/8, so no biggie) because i could certainly taste the weed in my cookies, just wasn't feeling it. So im thinking of going with Oil this time around. Heres what i got. I got all the canola oil i'll need (i only need 6 - 8 OZs of oil for 1 batch of brownies, which is all im going for at the moment) ive got 6 - 7 grams of budded up mid grade marijuana, as well as about a gram of keif. Ive got a crockpot, and the time needed to cook it. My problem is. One, all the recipes im finding are for large ammounts of marijuana (2 OZ's and up) but they are also for 48 OZs of canola oil, which is an entire bottle. I only need enough for one batch, so would about 7 grams work well for 1 batch/8OZs of oil? Two, most recipes im finding say to cook in a crockpot for 6 - 12 hours. Well which is it? Thats a huge difference, and im curious to know what i need to look for to know if its done in 6 hours, or to keep it in on a full 12? (is there changes in smell/colloration in the liquid so i can tell if its done?). Three, i have a coffee grinder, which grinds marijuana up to a pure powder, is this wise when cooking the way im describing? Or should i keep it as budded up as i can?
I hope to get a reply soon fellas! THANKS SO MUCH!

Help with first time cooking
Oh ya, also forgot. I hear some people saying they used, for example, 10 OZs of oil but after cooking with the marijuana, he ended up with about 8 OZs of marijuana oil. So does some burn up while cooking? so if i need 8Ozs of oil, should i use a little more then what i exactly need? or is this just the oil that sticks around the crockpot after completion?

Help with first time cooking
Man... there is simpler ways to cook with weed... my own advice is:
Fisrt, wrap completly your weed in tinfoil, then put it into the oven at 150C (300F), during 5-10 minutes. It will decarboxilate your weed, increasing (sometimes greatly) its effects.
After it, grind the weed as fine as you can. It will be easy, cause when we decarboxilate the weed it becomes more dry and crunchy.
Then, put the amount of weed you want to use in the oil. There is no need of "exact" amounts of weed and oil. Just mix them in the amount you need.
Heat this oil for some time. When i cook with weed, if the weed is finely ground, some 30 minutes of heating are enough. The oil must be heated for more time if you plan to use only the oil and filter the weed. But, if the weed were finely ground and you dont care eating small bits of it, then let the weed mixed in the oil.
Finally, use this oil wherever you wish. Note that there will be bits of weed mixed in it, so be sure to put all those bits whatever you put the oil, for avoid losing any weed.
And, enjoy! Usually when i eat weed, the amount of weed i use is 2-3x the amount i smoke, and it works well enough. So, good luck! I hope you get HIGHHHH!:stoned::rastasmoke::abduct:
